Celina clark
Coach Celina Clark joins Team Tempest from Flamborough, Ontario and will lead the team of elite 14U girls at the OneHockey tournament in Tallinn Estonia. Coach Celina played college hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Superior as well as Adrian College.
Prior to university, Celina played her youth hockey with Dundas Blues, Ancaster Avalanche, Cambridge Roadrunners, and Hamilton Hawks.
As a certified coach with Hockey Canada, Celina has led the boys U16AAA Hamilton Huskies. She now owns and operates Clark Hockey where her abundant skills and experiences help hockey players focus on team/individual development on/off ice. Coach Celina is deeply devoted to growing the game and making hockey more accessible to all who want to play.
We asked Coach Celina to share one of her fondest memories of growing up playing hockey in the ATG to which she responded, "In 2017 I was a senior on my high school varsity hockey team and my sister was in grade 9. It was the first time we played together on the same team. Our team was in conference finals, qualifying for OFSAA (provincials) and I scored the game winner with 40 seconds left on the clock. My sister was on the bench and she tackled me as I skated by and she fell on top of me on the ice and we were both crying and laughing with our team surrounding and supporting us. Coach let us finish the game together and it is one of my favourite memories."
Celina had this to share while looking ahead to the tournament in Estonia, "It will be my first time traveling to Europe and I’m looking forward to experiencing the culture and playing against other European teams. I am especially excited for the opportunity to grow Women’s hockey at an international level and share my knowledge, continuing to develop our young athletes."
We're all very grateful to the team at OneHockey for their dedication to delivering exceptional tournament experiences and to growing the game for girls.
